GENERAL MANAGER WATER UTILITY
The City of Green Bay has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and innovative General Manager to lead the Green Bay Water Utility. This position reports directly to the Water Commission and is responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of the City’s water utility system. Green Bay Water Utility has approximately 60 employees and an operating annual budget of $15 million.
Successful candidates will possess exceptional management, organizational and interpersonal skills. In addition, candidates will possess the qualifications to effectively administer the activities of the Water Utility which include budget development, implementing policies and procedures, human resources issues, planning, and water utility design and construction.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Sanitary Engineering or other closely related field required with a Master’s Degree preferred; 8-10 years progressively responsible experience including management and supervisory responsibilities in a water utility or related field. Candidates must be eligible to receive a Wisconsin Professional Engineer’s License and a Wisconsin Water System Operator’s Certification within 12-months of employment. Salary commensurate with experience. Excellent benefit package. Residency within Green Bay corporate City limits will be required within one year of employment.
